Google announcing a photography prize for student photographers all over the world. “Google Photography Prize”, the name of this contest offers you the opportunity to show your photography to the world. The big prize awaits you if you were able to win this contest. Samsung mobile phones Galaxy Nexus for 100 winners. 10 finalists has the opportunity to display they work for 2 months at the Saatchi Gallery, London. This will be an exciting opportunity to have your work exhibited alongside that of photographers such as Adam Broomberg & Oliver Chanarin, JH Engstrom and Katy Grannan. For the grand prize, the winner will go on a once-in-a-lifetime photography trip to a destination of their choice with a professional photography coach.
Category which contested is Me, Travel, Action, Fashion, Street, Sport, Night, Sound / Silence, and Point of View. The contestants have only 1 entry of 8 pictures. Make sure you pick the best category for your submission. Then submit your work and you can submit your photography portfolio of up to 8 photographs on Google + networking sites and give the title of album ‘Google Photography Prize’. The deadline for entries is 31st January 2012.
